What the scope can include

Pavers, driveways & exterior, coordinated beyond the visible finish.

Paver driveways, patios, concrete, fences, pool-area improvements, landscaping interfaces, lighting, and exterior finishes often overlap. A coordinated plan reduces the risk that one finished trade has to be disturbed for the next.

  • Paver and concrete driveways, walkways, patios, and site features
  • Fence, gate, and property-edge coordination
  • Pool-area renovation and exterior finish interfaces
  • Drainage, grading, utility, lighting, and landscape coordination
  • Demolition, access, protection, hauling, and restoration planning
  • Permit and inspection coordination when required

Planning your own driveway?

Start with the location, dimensions, current surface and material preferences. Site conditions and the agreed scope guide the proposal.

Preconstruction focus

Drainage and sequence come before the finish.

The visible material cannot correct an unresolved slope, utility conflict, access problem, or poor trade sequence. We review where water moves, what must cross beneath the work, how neighboring surfaces connect, and which items should be completed first.

  1. 01

    Existing drainage and elevation relationships

  2. 02

Property lines, setbacks, easements, and utility locations

  3. 03

Access for demolition, equipment, deliveries, and concrete placement

  4. 04

Coordination with gates, lighting, irrigation, pools, and landscaping

How the work moves

A clear sequence from first review to handoff.

01

Read the site

We review the existing surface, access, dimensions, drainage clues, adjacent improvements, desired use, and the documents available for the property.

02

Sequence the work

Demolition, underground items, layout, base or substrate, forming, inspections, installation, curing, finishes, and restoration are organized in order.

03

Close the edges

Transitions, gates, landscape interfaces, cleanup, corrections, and final use instructions are addressed before handoff.

Common questions

Useful answers before the scope is set.

01

Do exterior projects require permits?

Some do and some do not. Requirements can depend on the exact scope, property, location, dimensions, drainage, structural work, and local jurisdiction. We identify the applicable path before permitted work begins.

02

Why should lighting, irrigation, and gates be planned before concrete?

Conduit, sleeves, drainage, footings, posts, wiring, and irrigation may need to cross or sit within the work area. Planning them first avoids cutting or removing a finished surface later.

03

What should I send for a paver or concrete driveway proposal?

Send the property address, photos, existing dimensions, desired material and layout changes, and a survey if available. Include known drainage concerns, utilities, gates, landscaping and association rules. Avi Davi uses that information to identify missing details before defining the scope.

04

What affects the cost of a paver or concrete driveway?

Dimensions, demolition and hauling, base preparation, drainage, access, borders, selected material and applicable approvals all affect the price. Confirm whether gates, irrigation, landscape restoration and connections to adjacent surfaces are included. A square-foot rate is useful only when the underlying scope is comparable.

05

How long will my driveway be unavailable?

Plan parking and access before demolition. The sequence may include removal, drainage or utility work, base preparation, required inspections and installation. Weather, material availability and the specified curing or setting requirements affect when vehicles can return; the project team confirms that date for the installed system.
